18mm round pearl beads

3/4″ button with two holes in golden color for the halo

Follow the chain crochet angel ornament pattern with a step-by-step tutorial
1. make a magic ring using yarn in the desired color,
2. (ch16, sl st into magic ring) repaet 4 more times (5 loops). Make the last sl st with a white yarn. Cut the color yarn, leaving a longer tail.
3. (ch10, sl st into magic ring) repaet 5 more times (6 loops). Crochet the white loops over the white beginning yarn tail also. Cut the yarn, leaving a long tail, and pull it through the stitch. Thread a yarn needle on the white long yarn tail.
4. Pull the white and color beginning yarn tails to close the magic ring. Make a few ties with the two colored yarn tails on the back of your project.
5. From the right side of your project, insert the yarn needle through the three white bottom loops. Insert the needle through the pearl bead and one hole in the button.
6. Now, thread the needle back into the second buttonhole and the bead. Run the needle through the middle of the wings’ loops.
7. Leave a 3” loop of yarn at the top and make a knot close to the button. Make a few knots with the white yarn tails on the back, then cut excess yarn. You can put a dab of hot glue on the knots to secure them.
