Cut the yarn, leaving a longer tail, and pull the yarn through the stitch. Thread the yarn needle with the yarn tail and finish the round with an invisible stitch. Also, using back stitch, embroider segment lines on the orange slice. Make a knot with the yarn tail on the back of the orange piece.
Now, align the two orange pieces with the wrong sides together. Sc two opposite stitches together.

with the color bruschetta yarn ss through any two sts of the two orange pieces, ch1, *2sc in next st, sc in next 5sts* x6. Cut the yarn, leaving a longer tail, and pull the yarn through the stitch. Thread the yarn needle with the yarn tail and finish the round with an invisible stitch. Make a knot with the two yarn tails. Using a crochet hook pull the yarn tails inside the orange slice.
Thread the long yarn needle with a cotton cord and thread all the garland pieces on the cord. Pick cinnamon sticks with wide openings to pull them on the cord easily.
Make loops at both ends of the orange slice garland. Make knots right by the beads and cut the access cord. Put a dab of hot glue on each knot to secure it.
