cotton yarn 4 medium in yellow, green, and brown colors

crochet hook size H 5.0mm – I love the Clover brand

Abbreviations:
ch – chain
sl st – slip stitch
dc – double crochet
st(s) – stitch(es)
rep – repeat
yo – yarn over
Special stitch:
2dc cluster

Yo, insert the hook into the indicated stitch or space and pull up a loop – 3 loops on the hook.
• Yo, pull through 2 loops – 2 loops on the hook.
• Yo, insert the hook into the same stitch or space and pull up a loop – 4 loops on the hook.
• Yo, pull through 2 loops – 3 loops on the hook.
• Yo, pull through all 3 loops.
1. using brown yarn, make a magic ring, ch2 (does not work as a stitch),
2. (2dc cluster, ch2) x8 into the magic ring, sl st to the top of the first 2dc cluster
3. sl st to ch2 space, ch3, 3dc in same space, ch1,
(4dc in next ch2 space, ch1) x7, sl st to the top of ch3
4. ch3, dc in next 3dc, 2dc in ch1 space,
(dc in next 4dc, 2dc in ch1 space) x7, sl st to the top of ch3
5. ch3, sk 1 st, sc in next st, ch2,
(sk 1 st, sc in next st, ch2) around, sl st to first ch3 space with yellow yarn
6. ch2, (2dc cluster, ch1, 2dc cluster, ch1) in every ch2 spaces around, sl st to the top of first 2dc cluster
7. sl st to fist ch1 space with green yarn, ch3,
(sc into next ch1 space, ch2) around, sl st to ch3 space
8. ch1, 2sc in same space, (2sc in every ch2 space) around, sl st to first sc
9. ch1, *sc in next 3sc, sc2tog* rep around, sc in last sc, sl st to first sc
10. ch1, *sc in next 2sc, sc2tog* rep around, sc in last sc, sl st to first sc.
11. ch1, sc in every sc around, sl st to first sc. Finish off and weave in the yarn tail to the left side of the cover.
You can put the cover on the cork trivet and enjoy a crocheted fall table protector and decor.
