This easy crochet tunic is perfect for cool summer evenings and crisp autumn days. Believe it or not, it was my first crochet project. I had always wanted to learn how to crochet and was hoping that one day, I would find the right person to teach me.
Well, her name is Mary Grace, my lovely neighbor. She came by my house to introduce herself after we moved into the neighborhood. She brought me a kitchen towel angel welcome gift, that she made herself. That day I found out that she is a crochet expert and since then we have become crochet buddies.
Mary Grace helped me with my first crochet project, the Lion Brand Crochet Bronze Beauty Top. I made it a little longer than it shows in the pattern, making it look more like a tunic. Being over the moon about my accomplishment, I wanted the easy crochet tunic in all different colors, lol. I decided to crochet this same top but in my daughter’s size, instead. How would you crochet this for a size 8 child?
Sandy, you need to make one or two more increases in yoke
I have found the adult size and I am so overjoyed but please I am still stuck at round 3 again. I don’t understand the 2times and 5times you mean, dear sister. Thanks for the quick responses ?. I am standing by with my project at hand for your usual quick response.

Hi Agnes,
I haven’t explored, I just signed on. First I’d like to say thank you so much for excepting me & sharing your patterns for free!! I truly appreciate very much. Your tonic here caught my eye, I’d like to make something breezy for summer to go over a tank top, because I’ve always been self conscious of my arms & cleavage. And now I’m 58, I’m more so. I think it’s because I feel kinda naked. ? I’d just be more comfortable with something like this. Still be comfortable in summer months. It’s kinda like wearing glasses, sunglasses ? you can still see your eyes, but faded, or blurs out from being totally exposed. Thank you ??
Hello Donna, I am glad you like my patterns! Enjoy!
