Remember, to always wash and dry fabric ahead of time, to preshrink it.
Step 1. Cut three 14×14” squares out of each color fabric. Then, cut 2×16” strips out, of any leftover fabric color.
Step 2. Cut the yellow and orange squares in half and then stitch them together in the pattern shown in the picture.
Step 3. Then, fold the bag piece right side together, and stitch along the long edges. Using a zig-zag stitch finish the seam.
Step 4. Now, flatten the bottom corners so that the seam is in the center. Mark the corners about 2” wide and stitch across following the mark.
Step 5. Fold the upper raw edge twice, about ½” to the left side, and stitch around.
Step 6. Pin the strips right side together and stitch along long edges. Turn the sewn strips right side out and iron them flat. You just made nice handles for your candy corn bag!
Finally, stitch the ends of the handles to the top edge of inside the bag, about 4” apart.
