It is time to start making Christmas decorations and ornaments. This angel wings crochet pattern can be used to crochet angel wings ornament or wings for a crochet angel ornament. What you need for an angel wings crochet pattern

1. make magic circle and ch3 (works as dc), work 11dc in the circle, turn (11)
2. ch1, 2sc in next 5 sts, ss in next st, 2sc in next 5sts, turn (21)
3. ch3, dc in same st, 2dc in next 2sts, hdc in next 3sts, sc in next 4sts,
ss to next st,
sc in next 4sts, hdc in next 3sts, 2dc in last 3sts, turn (27)
4. ch1, sc in next 13sts, ss in next st, sc in next 13sts, turn (27)
5. ch3, dc in same st, 2dc in next 2sts, hdc 4 next sts, sc in next 6 sts,
ss in next st,
sc in next 6sts, hdc in next 4sts, 2dc in last 3sts, turn (33)
6. ch1, sc in next 16sts, ss in next st, sc in next 16sts, turn (33)
7. ch3, (picot) ch2 ss in second ch from hook (top loop only), dc in same st as ch3, 2dc in next 2 sts,
hdc in next 5sts, sc in next 8sts,
ss in next st,
sc in next 8sts, hdc in next 5sts, 2dc in last 3sts, (picot) ch2, ss in second ch from hook (top loop only)
8. now, finish the inside edge of the wings
2sc into dc, 1sc into sc top two loops only, and ss into the magic circle center. To make the other side of the wing look not bulgy, make 2ss in the last dc instead 2sc, cut the yarn pull through the loop, and secure on the wrong side.
Thread a yarn needle with the yarn tail from the magic circle. Run the needle in the middle of the wings to gather the upper part a little bit. Run the needle back through the middle, finish, and secure on the wrong side.
If you are making an angel wings crochet ornament, leave a loop on the top of the wings. Then, secure the yarn on the back.
