My carrot treat bag crochet pattern is easy to follow, a beginner-friendly crochet pattern. The crochet carrot treat bag is a quick crochet project. What You need for the carrot treat bag crochet pattern

red heart super saver yarn in carrot and tea leaf colors or any #4 medium-weight yarn

crochet hook I-9 5.5mm I love Clover Brand
Abbreviations:
dc – double crochet
ss – slip stitch
sc – single crochet
sc2tog – single crochet two together (decrease)
ch – chain
1. make a magic ring, ch 3 (works as a dc), dc, ch1, *2dc, ch1* x3 work into the ring, ss to top of ch3, ss to first ch1 space.
2 – 5. ch 3 (works as a dc), dc in same ch1 space, ch1,
*2dc in next ch1 space, ch1* x3, ss to top of ch3, ss to first ch1 space.
6. ch3, (dc, ch1, 2dc) in same ch1 space, ch1,
2dc in next ch1 space, ch1,
(2dc, ch1, 2dc) in next ch1 space, ch1,
2dc in next ch1 space, ch1,
Ss to the top of ch3, ss to first ch1 space
7 – 8. ch3, dc in same ch1 space, ch1,
*2dc in next ch1 space, ch1* x5, ss to top of ch3, ss to first ch1 space.
9. ch3, (dc, ch1, 2dc) in same ch1 space, ch1,
*2dc in next ch1 space, ch1* x2,
(2dc, ch1, 2dc) in next ch1 space, ch1,
*2dc in next ch1 space, ch1* x2,
Ss to the top of ch3, ss to first ch1 space
10 – 12. ch3, dc in same ch1 space, ch1,
*2dc in next ch1 space, ch1* x7, ss to top of ch3, ss to first ch1 space.
13. ch1, *sc2tog, sc in next ch1space* x8, ss to first sc
14. ch1, sc in every stitch around, ss green yarn to the first sc. (make a knot with the orange and green yarn tails to secure.
Now, you will be crocheting the green carrot leaves
15. *ch 8, ss in second ch from the hook, ss in next 6chs,
Ss, to next sc*- repeat in every sc around. Finish with a ss to the first ss.
Now, crochet the handle for the carrot treat bag.
16. ch 18, ss to a stitch on the opposite side (you can cross the chains) – repeat x3.
Cut the yarn leaving a longer tail. Secure by weaving the yarn tail on the inside stitch of the treat bag.
