Decorate your home for Easter with DIY Easter bunny decor! It is a super easy and quick, Easter felt decor idea.
I love making crafts using felt. My DIY Easter bunny decor is quick and easy to make. To make the bunny hanging figure more sturdy, I placed a fusible web between two layers of felt. Also, to make the bunny hang from a shelf, I used paper clip wires in paws. Follow my DIY Easter bunny decor step-by-step tutorial
Step 1. Gather all the materials, download and cut out the bunny template.

Step 2. Place the double-sided fusible web between the two felt sheets. Pin the cutout bunny template and the felt with fusible web together. Pin the template in several places to ensure the pieces won’t shift. Using detailed scissors cut out the bunny.

Step 3. Straight out two metal paper clips and then fold them in half.

Step 4. Using iron (no steam), press the felt pieces together. Iron press small areas of the bunny at a time, getting the paper template out of the way first. Place the folded clip wire between the felt layers in the bunny’s paws.

Step 5. Using the pom pom maker, make a pom pom with white yarn. You can use a smaller pom pom maker, if you’d like the bunny’s tail smaller. If you don’t have any pom pom makers you can use cardboard to make a pom pom. Visit my post on DIY fabric cone tree for instructions.
Step 6. Using a hot glue gun, glue the pom pom to the bunny’s tushy area.
Step 7. Fold the tips of the bunny’s paws to place him on a shelf or some other edgy place. Placing the bunny on the edge of a pot with plants would be a good idea.
If for some reason the folded paws are not staying in place, you can place velcro circles on the paws and surface where you want it to hang.
I didn’t put velcros on my bunny’s paws to hang nicely from the shelf.
I hope you enjoyed making this fun Easter bunny decor for your home. You can post your hanging bunny decor on my Facebook page.
Happy Crafting!
